All (Awarding of Prizes): If any post-event rating published between 1/2/2025 thru 3/31/2026 was more than 50 points above the section rating maximum, the prize limit is $200. CHESS ZONE APRIL RATED SCHOLASTIC K-12 Four Rounds, Swiss System, USCF rated
SECTIONS: 1300+: Open to scholastic players rated 1300 and up. U1300: Open to scholastic players rated between 600 and 1299. U600: Open to scholastic players under 600 and unrated.
PRIZES: Trophies to 1st-3rd place in each section. Medals to all finish with 50% or greater that don't win a trophy.
Time Control: G/25; d5; USCF dual rated (regular and quick). Entry Fee: Members: $38 if pre-registered by 4/1; $43 by 4/5; $48 on-site. Non-Members: $45 if pre-registered by 4/1; $50 by 4/5; $55 on-site. The field is limited to the first 40 registrants. Schedule: All players, including pre-registrants, please check in by 9:45 am.
