Danny is a software engineering leader with experience building products used by millions of people. Before founding Chess67, he led engineering teams at Meta and Calendly and previously built and published independent web and mobile games through K2xL. His games have been played by millions of users, with titles including Boomshine and Obechi receiving media recognition.

Danny is also closely connected to the chess community in Roswell, Georgia. He brings the perspective of a competitive player, a supporter of Roswell-area chess, and a parent whose children participate in chess tournaments.

Carter is a marketing professional, chess coach, tournament organizer, and community builder focused on helping chess organizations grow. He works directly with clubs, coaches, organizers, and state associations while leading Chess67’s growth, partnerships, outreach, and user relationships.

He is the founder of Coach Carter’s Chess Academy, Editor of Texas Knights for the Texas Chess Association, a US Chess Tournament Director, and former President of the Tulane Chess Club. His experience includes coaching players, organizing tournaments, leading chess communities, and supporting clubs and associations.
