Annual ATL Turkey Bowl

♟️ Toco Hills Chess Tournament — November 21
Join Chess4AllAges for an afternoon of friendly competition, great food, and community! Our kid-friendly tournament welcomes beginners and intermediate players, whether you’re playing your first tournament or rated and ready for your next challenge.
Three sections offer a place to play and grow:

• Unrated: New to tournament chess? Start here!
• Under 600: Build confidence and test your skills.
• Open: Take on a broader range of competition. Our highest-rated player last time was around 1600!

Players will compete in four rounds of Swiss-system chess, so everyone plays all four rounds—no elimination. The time control is G/45, giving each player 45 minutes per game to think, plan, and make their moves. For the unrated section, G30 will be the time control giving them the opportunity for more games.
🍖 Fox Bros BBQ will be on site! Bring your appetite along with your best chess moves. Menu here: https://wildheavenbeer.com/toco-hills/menu

Come learn, meet fellow chess lovers, and enjoy a welcoming environment where every game is a chance to grow!

Prizes to the top 2 in each section. 1/2 point byes are available.
