2026 Annual Membership Meeting

2026 Annual Membership Meeting The 2026 Texas Chess Association Annual Membership Meeting was held September 4 in San Antonio in conjunction with the 92nd Southwest Open. The annual meeting brings TCA members together to conduct association business and help shape the future of chess across Texas. The meeting agenda included officer reports, certification of election results, presentation of annual awards, consideration of member motions, and approval of the annual budget. Additional meeting information and official records will be shared as they become available.

Seeking Volunteers for 2026–27

Seeking Volunteers for 2026–27 The Texas Chess Association is seeking volunteers for the 2026–27 fiscal year. Opportunities are available across operational committees, advisory committees, expert advisor roles, and ambassador positions. Members may also express interest in serving as a committee chair. Volunteering with TCA is a great way to support chess across Texas, contribute your skills, and help strengthen programs serving thousands of players throughout the state. Applications are now open.
