About
I am Konstantin Matsinski - a certified coach from Bulgaria with 13 years of competitive experience and 3 years of coaching. I have been working with children and adults from USA, Russia, France, India and home Bulgaria. I am founder and head coach of Chess School “Intellect“ in the beautiful town of Sliven with over 150 children and adults studying and practicing chess.
I hold degrees from the National Sports Academy “Vassil Levski” and Techical University in Sofia. I am proud to be a national chess arbiter (NA), tournament organizer. In addition to my chess credentials, I have an academic background as a bachelor engineer and a master’s degree in pedagogy, which helps me approach teaching in a structured, personalized, and educational way.
I speak English, Bulgarian and Serbian, and I’m passionate about making chess accessible and enjoyable for learners of all ages and backgrounds.
