By popular demand, Chess2Children is offering our first summer Chess camp at St. Joseph’s! Open to SJCS and non-SJCS students. Join us for a week of learning the King’s game while having fun interacting with new and existing friends. Beginners will learn the basics and be exposed to the initial strategy. Seasoned players will gain more insight and knowledge on various tactics, openings, and endgame situations. Ultimately, campers will enjoy another GREAT week of chess and friendships with our amazing coaches!
Our experienced chess teachers, who have been working with children of all ages for years, will run the camp. In addition to games, tactics, puzzles, blindfold chess, etc. our coaches will bring in other fun activities to break up the day and allow your children to have a wonderful week!
Every child will receive a chess summer camp t-shirt.
