Putnam Valley Chess Club

We meet every Wednesday from 4-7 PM to play. The Putnam Valley Library provides a spacious room, chess sets, boards and clocks. Players of all skill levels are welcome including beginners. Occasionally some of the stronger players make presentations on aspects of chess (kingside attacks, bishops vs. knights, pawn breaks). On most Wednesdays we have 8-10 players, mostly adults but kids are welcome.
