Is this appropriate for my child?
Yes — this is a welcoming, supportive environment for kids of different ages and skill levels.

Will they learn something?
Absolutely. The focus is on learning how tournaments work, practicing good sportsmanship, and building confidence through play.

How long is it?
The event runs from 10–2, and players will have the chance to play multiple games, helping them build focus and stamina over the course of the day.

Whether your child is new to tournament-style play or has some experience already, this will be a fun and educational way to grow their chess skills. Trophies will be awarded, and the emphasis will be on learning, participation, and enjoying the game!
