About

Hello!

I am a developing chess coach with extensive experience teaching and mentoring youth and young adults through several youth leadership programs. Over the years, I've led small group instruction, conducted one-on-one mentoring, and helped students build confidence, discipline, and critical thinking skills.

I currently focus on helping new and beginner chess players (USCF 1000 and below) develop a solid foundation in chess fundamentals. My lessons are structured, encouraging, and tailored to each student's goals. Whether you're learning the rules, preparing for your first tournament, or trying to stop hanging pieces, I can help you build good habits from the start.

My philosophy is simple: strong fundamentals first, then steady growth through practice and analysis.

My goal is to create a strong chess community in Cobb County through cheap lessons, community events, and participation by all.
