Before you start
Use a PGN puzzle file up to 8 MB, with no more than 3,000 puzzle records. This import requires Pro.
Step by step
- Open Jackhammer and choose Import a private PGN set for the intended training profile.
- Open Format guide and example. Each record needs a starting-position header, such as FEN, and at least one legal solution move.
- Select the Puzzle file and review the count of ready puzzles and any skipped invalid or duplicate records.
- Check that the main move sequence is the solution you intend. Alternative lines are not accepted as alternate answers, and comments are not shown during training.
- Choose the Set name and Rounds, then confirm the offered import action.
- Open the imported set and inspect its puzzles before relying on it for training.
After you finish
The valid imported puzzles become a private set for repeated training, with skipped records identified in the report.
