Tournament Format

1. USCF membership required (it's ok if you're unrated)
2. Swiss - meaning players are paired each round with opponents who have similar scores
3. G/5+3 - meaning 5 min to make all moves, plus a 3-sec bonus per move. This will count towards USCF Blitz.
4. Just one Open Section

Full Schedule

1. 1 - 3 PM: Group Stage - All players play 6 (maybe 7) rounds of G/5+3
2. 3 - 4 PM: Knockout Stage - The top 4 seeds advance to a single-elimination bracket. To win it all, a player must win two consecutive best-of-2 matches. If we're lucky & a match is tied after two games, Armageddon insues!
