C4 x SMC Inaugural Library Quads

This free tourney is open to all players rated 1000+ USCF Regular.
Voluntary donations are much appreciated, as they support future events like this.

Tournament Format

1. USCF membership required
2. Sections - Just one 1000+ section
3. Quads - meaning players will be grouped into sections of 4 (i.e. quads) & will play each of the 3 similarly rated players in their quad.
4. G/60 d5 - For each game, each player has 60 min to make all their moves, with a 5-sec delay per move. This dually rated time control counts towards both USCF Regular & Quick ratings.
5. No byes may be requested.
6. Prizes! - TBD

Full Schedule

1. 10:30 AM - 12:30 PM: Round 1
2. 1 - 3 PM: Round 2
3. 3:30 - 5:30 PM: Round 3

Additional Notes

1. The tournament room is located close to the front. Once inside, climb the stairs (or use the elevator) and turn right.
2. The parking lot is located directly in front of the library main entrance (2 min walk).
3. 💯% ADA accessible
