Spokane Chess Club

The club meets Thursday evenings at the West Central Abbey's Fellowship Hall (except Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years weeks). Doors open between 6:30 and 7:00 pm, with scheduled events beginning as close to 7:00 pm as possible. Most events end between 10:00 and 10:30 pm. Parking is generally available on Dean Street or in a small parking lot on the West side of the building.

Rated events held on Thursdays require: (a) a current US Chess (or USCF) membership and (b) either a current Club membership or payment of a premium entry fee. Non-rated events and casual games (generally available) do not require US Chess or Club membership.

Club membership dues: Junior (18 and under) - $15 but may be paid out of prize winnings; Adult (19 through 64) - $30; Senior (65 and older) - $15. Membership is annual, due each September, for September through August. Pro-rated initial membership is accepted. If necessary, dues may be paid in up to 3 installments.
