Go to the right place
Before you start
Use an existing club roster and sign in with member-management permission. Read the import's consent statement before applying it.
Step by step
- Prepare a row for each intended member with a name and email. Include a header row such as Name, Email so the mapper can recognize the columns.
- Add optional columns for chess IDs, supported profile details, membership groups, tiers, questions, or group expiration dates.
- Use a clear expiration date such as 2027-06-18, or Never when no expiration is intended. Multiple group or tier values in one cell can be separated with semicolons or pipes.
- Check missing or repeated emails and names before exporting a CSV. Do not treat a parent's shared email as proof that several rows represent one account or several distinct child profiles.
- Open Club Admin → Members and the member import tools. Paste the list or choose Upload CSV, then proceed to Map columns.
After you finish
The import has a readable roster to map and preview before any member changes are applied.
