Tournament Format

1. USCF membership required (it's ok if unrated)
2. 2 Sections - One section for rated players & another for new, unrated players
3. Swiss - meaning players are paired each round with opponents who have similar scores
4. G/30 d5 - For each game, each player has 30 min to make all their moves, with a 5-sec delay per move. This dually rated time control counts towards both USCF Regular & Quick ratings.
5. 1 Bye Max - Only 1 half-point bye may be requested during registration.
6. Prizes! - TBD

Full Schedule

1. 12:30 - 12:45 PM: Check-in period
2. 12:45 - 2 PM: Round 1
3. 2 - 2:45 PM: Lunch break
4. 2:45 - 4 PM: Round 2
5. 4 - 5:15 PM: Round 3

Additional Notes

1. Where is the tournament room? Once inside the main entrance (automatic doors), enter the library & continue walking straight for 30 sec, until you see the Community Room on your left.
2. The parking lot is located directly in front of the library main entrance (2 min walk).
