Step by step
- Open Shadow Bot Studio and select the saved bot you want to practice against.
- In the arena, review the bot identity and choose the available opponent variation and your side before starting a new game.
- Play on the board and use the move navigation controls to inspect earlier positions. Return to the latest position before continuing live play.
- Review the arena's saved games list to reopen the intended game instead of starting another one.
- After a game ends, use PGN or Analyze when offered to review it, or New Game to practice again.
After you finish
You can repeat practice against a saved bot and inspect the saved game that actually belongs to that opponent.
