Quads will be organized and seeded based on age from oldest to youngest! (We need birthdates.) The tournament results will help to determine the truth or falsity of the tournament name claim. One game per week on 7/9, 7/16 and 7/23. Time control: G/70;d5. Entry fee: $15. Prizes per quad: 1st - $40, 2nd - $15. Please register in advance on chess67.com. Payment may be made online or when you check in on 7/9/2026. USCF rated.
Bye requests must be made before registration ends. All will be zero-point byes, unless a make-up game is played and reported by both players before the end of play on 7/23/2026. Makeup games may be coordinated with the scheduled opponent. Opponents are asked to make reasonable efforts to play a makeup game. Nevertheless, if the opponent is not available, the game will be scored as a zero-point bye for the person who requested it and as a bye win for the opponent.
G/70 avoids quick rating yet is long enough for games to be over in time for the old men to get a good night's rest.

Time control is long enough to not be quick rated but fast enough to hopefully avoid players sleeping at the board. G/70;d5. One game per week through 7/23/2026. Games should generally be over before 9:30 pm. No half-point byes available; rather, make-up games, if necessary, are encouraged to be played between rounds. Entry - $15. Prizes for each 4-player Quad: 1st - $40; 2nd - $18. Please register in advance through chess67.com.

Traditional blitz tourney with no delay or increment. 6-Rd Swiss. Not rated. If available, USCF Quick rating will be used for seeding. Rounds will be about every 15-20 minutes. Unhealthy snacks (e.g., cookies, etc.) will be available while they last for between-rounds while quick-socializing.
Prizes: 1st, 2nd & 3rd Place medals. In the event of tie for any of these places, a playoff shall determine the winner; best 2 out of 3 games; if tied players met during the tournament, the tournament game result counts as one of the playoff games. Ties will be determined from top to bottom.
