Place Prizes: 1st Place - $160; 2nd Place - $80; 3rd Place - $40; Class Prizes: Class A 1800-1999 - $25; Class B-C 1400-1799 - $25 Class E-D 1000-1399 - $25; U1000: $25

Live US Chess regular ratings used for pairings and prizes. Prizes based on 30 registrations. Unrated players eligible only for place prizes.

Time Control: G/15; inc. 10; USCF quick rated. Entry Fee: Members: $23 by 5/20; $28 by 5/23 $33 at the site; Non-Members: $30 by 5/20; $35 by 5/23; $40 at the site; Free entry for (W)FMs, (W)IMs, (W)GMs - entry fees deducted from prizes. The field is limited to the first 50 registrants. Schedule: Pre-registration closes at 9:00 am. On-site registration ends at 9:45 am. Rounds: 10:00 AM, 11 AM, 12 PM, 1 PM. 1/2-Pt. Byes: Available, limit two. Must request 1/2-point byes before start of round 2. 0-point byes available at any time for any round.

++Tournament Format++

  1. USCF membership required (it's ok if you're unrated)
  2. Swiss - meaning players are paired each round with opponents who have similar scores
  3. G/45 d5 - For each game, each player has 45 min to make all their moves, with a 5-sec delay before each move. This is a ++USCF Regular++ rated time control.
  4. Sections - Players will be placed into 1 of the 2 Swiss sections, based on their monthly supplemental USCF Regular ratings.
  5. Byes - 1 half-point (0.5 pt) bye may be requested during registration as late as 24 hrs before Round 1 starts
