What to expect Four round rated Swiss tournament with structured sections based on rating and grade level

Format 4 round Swiss Time control G25 with 5 second delay

Round times 10:00 AM 11:30 AM 1:15 PM 2:30 PM

Sections K-2 (U500) U500 U1000 U1400

Entry fee 30 before April 16 40 after

Player limit 50 players

Prizes (each section) 1st place 50 plus trophy 2nd place trophy 3rd place trophy

Free pizza served after round 2

Byes Half point byes allowed (max 2, must be requested before end of round 1) 0 point byes available any round

Requirements US Chess membership required

Players are encouraged to bring a chess clock
